Although I did not live with her full time while I was growing up she took wonderful care of me when I visited. She and my dad divorced twenty years ago and she is still one of my best friends (and I still introduce her as my stepmom which confuses the hell out of everyone). My children call her Grandma and she is every bit as much of a Grandma to them as she was a mother to me. They are as blessed to have her in their lives as I am. Keep up the good work! Motherhood - however you come by it - is hard work.
